My research is focused on biogeography and biodiversity conservation applied to different taxonomic groups. I obtained a BSc degree in Biology at the University of Lisbon in 2017, and an MSc degree in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution at the University of Porto in 2019. After developing a thesis on the conservation planning of the endemic amphibians of Madagascar using phylogenetic data, I am currently engaged in the Project CULTIVAR as a technician of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. My aim is to better understand the ecological niches of the Mediterranean flora and to predict their future changes, using tools such as Species Distribution Models and Geographical Information Systems.

I recently submitted my first research manuscript and several others are under preparation. In the expectation that this work adds value to the conservation of the natural values, I also aspire to preserve biodiversity with my own hands through different environmental education initiatives.
