I completed a MSc in Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants at The University of Edinburgh (Scotland) in 2014 and ungraduated in Phytochemistry and Phytopharmacology from School of Agriculture of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, in 2011.

I was an Erasmus student at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Turin (Italy, 2009/2010), I worked and participated in research projects at CIMO – Mountain Research Center (Bragança, 2010/2011), in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Warwick (England, 2012), in the Department of Plant Science and at the Botanical Garden of the University of Oxford (England, 2012/2013), at the RBGE – Royal Botanical Garden of Edinburgh (Scotland, 2013/2014), where I had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant at the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh (RBGE, 2014) and I also acquired a RBGE Certificate in Practical Field Botany, in Belize (2014). I participated in several volunteer programs such as a researcher at the Herbarium of the University of Oxford (England, 2012/2013), the British Pteridological Society (2014), the Ashmolean Natural History Society (2012/2013) and Operation Wallacea, as a lecturer and volunteer coordinator, in Mexico (2019).

Currently, I am a technician at Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (IPCB – ESA) within the scope of the CULTIVAR project (https://icultivar.pt/).
