In 1994, I obtained a Bachelor degree in Forest Engineering by the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco – School of Agriculture (IPCB-ESA).

In 1999, I graduated in Forest Engineering; in 2004 I obtained a Master degree in Engenharia de Materiais Lenhocelulósicos, and in 2010, a PhD in Forest Engineering at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia – Technical University of Lisbon.

I returned to research (2019) with a PostDoc fellowship at Universidade da Beira Interior. Currently, I’m a research fellow at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco – School of Agriculture (IPCB-ESA).

Present research interests: Modelling Mediterranean species to evaluate the past and present species distribution range.
